Zest lemon and put zest in food processor with olives, capers, garlic, and olive oil. Pulse until smooth.
Slice baguette and grate cheese. Brush each baguette slice with olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Toast under broiler for 1-2 minutes, then flip and toast for another minute.
Spread tapenade on each toast (un-oiled side), and sprinkle with grated cheese. Broil until cheese is melted. Finish by sprinkling with black pepper.
