Cajun Spiced Burgers

Ingredients

For the Burgers

For the Remoulade

  • 1/4 cup Italian parsley leaves
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • pinch fine sea salt

For the Veggies

  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon avocado or olive oil

Instructions

For the Burgers

  • Slice the white and light green part of the scallions. Combine with ground beef, spice blend, and salt. Form four 1/2-inch thick patties.

For the Remoulade

  • Finely chop the parsley and celery. Combine with mayonnaise, mustard, hot sauce, and salt and refrigerate until serving.

For the Veggies

  • Slice the onion into 1/4-inch rounds and pepper into 1/4-inch slices. Rub with oil.

Grill It Up!

  • Grill the burger patties over medium heat for about 4 minutes per side or until desired done-ness. Grill the vegetables until lightly charred and tender.

To Serve

  • Toast the buns. Put a patty on the lower bun and spread with remoulade. Add the grilled veggies, then the top bun!
